About us

The team behind
Bright Future Homes

A family-run real estate agency in Yagoona that's been helping south-west Sydney buy, sell and manage property since 2011 — here's who we are and how we got here.

14 people, one office NSW licensed agency

Our story

Started with a desk, a phone and a stubborn idea.

In 2011 Daniel Reeves left a big franchise agency to open a one-room office opposite Yagoona station.

The idea was simple: do fewer deals, do them properly, and never make a client chase you for an update. The first year we sold eleven houses and nearly went broke twice. But every one of those sellers told their neighbours — and that, it turned out, was the whole business plan.

Fifteen years on we've grown to fourteen people, moved into our own place at 585 Hume Hwy, and added property management, buyer's agent work and styling. The rule hasn't changed: the person you meet is the person who does the work.

How we think

Three rules we actually follow.

Answer fast, honestly

Every enquiry gets a reply within two business hours. If we don't know something, we say so and go find out. Clients tell us this alone is unusual — which is a bit sad for the industry, but good for us.

Everything in writing

Fees, timelines, what we will and won't do — all written down before you sign anything. Surprises belong at birthdays, not at settlement.

Long game over quick wins

Most of our clients come back or send family. That only works if we give the same advice whether or not it earns us a fee today — so we do.

Our team

The people you'll actually deal with.

Fourteen of us in total — these are the four you'll meet first.

Portfolio

Projects we're proud of.

A few jobs that show the range — from a hard sell that needed patience to a styling job that changed the price bracket.

Research we publish

Twice a year we write up what's actually happening in the local market — clearance rates, days on market, where rents moved. No spin, just the numbers we use ourselves. Grab the latest from the blog or ask us for the PDF.

Next edition: winter 2026 market review, due August.

Community work

We sponsor the Yagoona Lions junior team and run a free downsizing seminar at the Bankstown library each quarter.

Milestones

Fifteen years, the short version.

The numbers that mattered along the way.

2011 — the door opens

One desk, eleven sales, endless coffees with anyone who'd sit down.

2015 — property management launches

2019 — we buy our office

585 Hume Hwy becomes home. Clients can always find us — literally.

2023 — buyer's agent service

Tom joins from a valuation firm and we start working the other side of the deal.

2026 — today

340+ sales, a 96% repeat-client rate, and the same rule from day one.

Questions

About working with us.

Fair questions — ask them, we like it.

Fully independent — Bright Future Homes Pty Ltd, owned by Daniel Reeves. No head office telling us which suburbs to push or how to price.

Fourteen people: sales, property management, buyer's advocacy, styling and admin. Small enough that everyone knows your file, big enough that someone always answers.

Mostly, yes — that's where our evidence base is strongest. For buyer's agent work we regularly cover the inner west and St George too. Ask about your suburb.

Of course. Half the conversations we have end with "keep renting for now" or "don't sell yet". The free appraisal is genuinely free.

Come say hello.
The coffee's on us.

Drop into 585 Hume Hwy or book a call — fifteen minutes and you'll know exactly where you stand.
