Bright Future Homes · Legal
Privacy policy
How Bright Future Homes collects, uses and protects your personal information — written plainly, because privacy policies shouldn't need a law degree.
The short version
Plain-English summary — the full text below is the binding part.
- We only collect what we need to do the job — contact details, property information, enquiry content.
- We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- You can see, correct or delete your data — one email does it.
What we collect
When you enquire, book an appraisal or sign a service agreement we collect your name, phone, email and details about the property involved. Our website also records standard analytics — pages viewed, time on site, browser type — via cookies described in the cookie policy.
We don't collect more than the job needs. If a form field isn't marked required, it's genuinely optional.
How we use it
Your details are used to respond to enquiries, prepare appraisals, run sales campaigns, manage tenancies and meet our legal obligations as a licensed NSW real estate agency. Records related to transactions are kept for the statutory period required under NSW law.
We may email you occasional local market updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link and we actually honour it.
Your privacy rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 you can access your data, correct it, and complain about mishandling. If you're in the EU/UK, GDPR gives you the same rights plus portability and objection — we apply them for everyone, because it's simpler and fairer.
To exercise any of these, contact us at the contacts page. If you're not satisfied with our response you can complain to the OAIC (oaic.gov.au) or, for GDPR matters, your local supervisory authority.

Who sees your information
Our team, our conveyancing and inspection partners where your transaction requires it, and regulators where the law requires it. Data is stored in Australia with reputable providers. We don't sell, rent or trade personal information — full stop.
How it's protected
Access is limited to staff who need it, systems are password-protected, and physical files live in a locked office. If a breach ever affected your data, we'd notify you and the OAIC as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Your choices
Ask us any time for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion where the law allows. Email brightfuturehomes@gmail.com — it goes to a person, not a queue.
